  1. if i log my rpm and it not stable that could also indicate that it misfiring?
  2. Thank you guys I found the problem. Im running GM LQ9 coil and two of them are weak not enough to notice a misfire but enough to make the car lazy and dull underboost. Is their a way to log or test for misfire on each cylinder under boost with the g4 silver xtr ecu?
  3. the map is a proven tuned map. my turbo need a rebuild so i switch to a new turbo but my the car wont boost pass 12psi when fully warm up to operating temp but fine when cold/ half way warm up. turbo is brand new no boost leak or exhaust leak
  4. yes i just double check and it the right wire an volt 3. I have no clue why it reading 3.5 volt without a sensor plug in. Just to test it i put one of my volt meter lead on the car battery positive and signal wire i get about 8 volt. I dont know what feeding it getting ground.
  5. with no sensor plugged in i get 3.5 volt from the signal that coming out from to the ecu. Im getting ground from that signal wire that coming out from the ecu. Also my sensor ground has continuity with the engine ground is this normal?
  6. OK i fixed the proplem but now my IAT is at 100C and i know it not 100C engine hasnt started all day im getting 5v between the 2 wire on the plug is that normal?
  7. i was in the middle of updating my firmware and my computer shut down (crash) now i cant connect to my ecu it keep saying searching-online - off line... can anyone help me
  8. disconnect the signal wire from ecu with sensor plug in i see 5 volt from the signal wire. Im assuming the sensor is bad? but it work fine on my other car. 5 volt power wire to signal wire from ecu i see 1.2 volt sensor is not plug in
  9. cal table is input A .5V                     input B 4.5V                    kPa                     output A 100 kPa                     output B 1134 kPa
  10. anV 4 high is 4.95V anV 4 low is .05V error valve is 100kPa can i use any other brand of sensor to log my fuel pressure? for some reason i can not use any of aem sensor
  11. im 100% sure that the wiring is correct. the sensor is good it work fine with my other car. the ecu see 5v only when i plug the sensor in  the harness.Â
  12. I been having so much problem using aem sensors (5 bar map, 150 PsiG sensor for fuel pressure log ect...) the LINK G4 would show it at 5v even when engine is off with IGN on. I change out 3 map and 2 pressure sensor so far with the same result. with both type of sensor. Im 100% sure my cal table is correct. This only happen with aem sensor GM Map sensor work flawless. And once the sensor read 5v with my link g4 ecu the sensor is permanently bad it will always read 5 volt even with other ecu....
  13. right now this is the setting hard limit ign 100% adaptive limit control 200 rpm hard limit act 200 rpm end cut 90% start cut tp 100% 60% start cut low tp 30% tp low 15% decay 1% 20 ms ign trim -15 what would you suggest changing?
  14. Previously ken wrote: anyone? I want to set so that my link G4 extreme ecu cut my rpm limit that create pop and bang. Right now it on ign cut not in advance mode but no pop or bang sound like fuel cut.

  16. can the g3 plus be able to control honda k20a engine? anyone have a base map or wiring diagram?Â
  17. Nice... I melted my motor because my gas tank was low and no sump. I figure if i could use the GP limit to limit rpm vs fuel pressure. But if i can do this using AFR then it would be a better solution.
  18. Is there a way to limit rpm if AFR is higher then let say 13.0 at 15 Psi of boost? Can i also do this with fuel pressure? Which is a better solution?
  19. i used the cal 4 .5v 0kpa 4.5 515 kpa just like aem setting
  20. okay so the plug didnt fix the problem ! it was working fine now it f up again. same problem idle it read 555 kPa .some how signal wire AN volt 1 is getting 5 volt only when i plug the pig tail onto the sensor. im going to make a new separate harness just for the map and see if that fix the problem ... could it be software related?
  21. I just wired in my AEM 5 bar map sensor and the signal wire get 5 volt at all time when (plug into map sensor). But if i (unplug) it from the sensor then the signal wire doesnt not have any power like it suppose to. This is a Know good map sensor. I Check all of the wiring and it is correct. signal wire goes to an volt 1 ground goes to ecu sensor ground and 5 volt goes to 5 volt from ecu header. CAN ANYONE HELP ME?
  22. thanks you very much please let me know if he can help me out thanks
  23. Hi im trying to create a base map for my 2jzgte engine running a link G4 xtreme silver ecu. Im running direct fire for the coil, using GM yukon coil. I have a 67mm turbo with AEM 5 bar map and GM IAT. My injector are precision 1600cc low impedance bosh core. My question is where would i go to scale the injector flow rate ? Or If anyone have a similar map please send it to my email. [email protected] Many Thanks
  24. I want to use the AEM 5 bar for map sensor. Is the link 5 bar map sensor setting good enough or should i recalibrate it ? I also want to use the GM Intake Temp Sensor. does link have a preset calibration for this sensor also ? Help would be great
