  1. Hi guys, my car runs great and sits around stoich most of the time. 12-13:1 under full load. Pretty inefficient old motor design but it seems to be using a lot more fuel than I’d expect. Using multi point grouped mode, looks like injector timing can’t be changed unless in single point mode? Unstable manifold vacuum due to cam and Siamese ports - using TPS for fuel map load axis, two injectors feeding four cylinders. Bad recipe for fuel economy I know, but wondering if anyone has any ideas? Thanks, Stu

  2. Hi guys, can anyone send me screenshots or whatever of the tables in the charge temp approximation help section? Dont know why but  I've never had any graphics in the help section (updated latest version, uninstalled/reinstalled etc), really need a visual to help me understand. Thanks.

  3. Hi Adam, I've attached  couple of screen shots. The script error one always appears each time I open anything from the ECU settings menu. The charge temp one is an example of anything I open in the help menu - no graphics anywhere. The version I'm running is 5.6.7.3632. I'm using Windows 10 on a Lenovo laptop. Not sure about default directory. I dont even know what that is. I just followed the prompts from the installation wizard. Its ended up here "C:\Link G4\PCLink G4+\PCLink.exe" if that makes sense? Thanks for taking a look. I have managed to muddle along so far like this but would really love it if the graphics were going.

  4. Hi guys - I can’t seem to access any graphics/flow charts etc in the help section. Really need it to help me learn - struggling to understand the charge temp approximation table and think maybe the illustrated examples might help. Any ideas anyone? Thanks

  5. Hi Adam, been working with the tune you set up for me. Idle, lean cruise and light throttle are all way happier. Something's still way off though - anything over say 30% throttle and my AFR is in the 9's. Its using more gas than a monster truck too. MAP now switched off, IAT corrections off- no effect. I have also calibrated my wideband sensor etc. After a run, most of the time driving at  AFR high 13's to low 14's and idling around mid 13's my spark plugs are still quite dark. Hideously rich, rough, smokey start ups in the afternoons too. Cold start and warm up corrections off.  Any ideas mate? Thank you.

  6. Thanks for that, should I send you the ignition and fuel maps or a log file? I have triggered each injector twice to try and replicate four injectors. I’ve got a wideband in the collector as cyls 2 and 3 are siamese and share a primary. Also, I’ve ditched the distributor for a wasted spark set up. No cam sensor, so I guess that limits my ability to go sequential and use the split timing function? At anything over part throttle it runs really well, but light throttle and idle are all over the place. I’ve tried adjusting the fuel table but just made everything worse. Was running a side draft Weber and used the wideband to set it up too, could never get idle on that to behave either. Linked the two intake branches with a little plenum (like the original SU manifold) which improved things dramatically but still far from ideal. I appreciate your help Adam - some people say I’m putting lipstick on a pig but I’m enjoying the process anyway haha!

  7. Thanks Adam, it’s a real horror show though - it wasn’t until I read your stuff that I realised I was trying to tune around an impossibly shitty vacuum signal. I’ll send it to you tomorrow . By the way, should I change my ignition map load axis to TPS too? Thank you
