JohnB Posted August 4, 2019 Report Share Posted August 4, 2019 Hello everyone, Just finished tuning up my R32 GTR. Got everything dialed in though i need to upgrade the fuel system. Im moving to a high impedance injector, my question is do the setting's need to be change in the ecu software? I cannot seem to see any options like other brands. cj Posted August 4, 2019 Report Share Posted August 4, 2019 most link's dont have the option to change it as the only support saturated (high impedance) mode. If it exists in your ecu it is under fuel > injector setup. Because you have been running with a ballast resistor in place, the ECU has always been running in high impedance mode so there is nothing you need to change. Low impedance injectors + resistor ~= high impedance injectors. It sound like you already know this, but you need to remove the ballast resistor & bridge the wires that used to go to it, otherwise you have no power to your injectors. Just change the injector dead times, flow rate etc and you should be good to go. You will likely need to re-tune some of your fuel table after this.
