JPL Posted March 3 Report Share Posted March 3 Hi, we do have a PlugIn WRX6X and suddenly have a problem that after an undefined time the car gets weird data from the ECT and/or IAT sensor (degrees jump eavily). This results in the engine going up to 3000 to 4000 rpm. We already exchanged the throttle potentiometer and the ECT sensor. No improvement. We then were shaking the plug at the ECU a bit and suddently the error appears again. It seems that the harness is ok and we could potentially have a cold solder joint. Nevertheless, the harness still has a lot of cables and is also already 25 years old. Now, does anyone know if there is a engine harness for the WRX6X with available at the market direkt fits into the ECU and has the original Subaru plugs for the different sesnors, etc?
