Snow leon
Hello guys I have a bmw s1000rr turbo running link g4x monsoon . Everything is running good except the trigger offset . I'm not able to find it using a timing gun bcz the trigger wheel 60-2 is inside the engine cover and no marks or anything. Does anyone has experience with such a project , if not , how can I figure it out . I have anther spare engine on the table I can part ot out if. It helps finding the trigger offset . Vaughan
If you put it at tdc on cyl 1 and then look at where the crank sensor is relative to the gap, count the teeth to figure out how many degrees it is and enter that as the offset. I can't remember off the top of my head which direction is positive offset but I believe the help manual specifies this. Snow leon
