Znelbok
HI all. I have a 1JZ with an AltezzaLink ECU. Everytime I try to do a TPS calibration, it fails with no movement of the TPS. I have confirmed that the TPS is working by manual moving both the throttle plate and the taking the TPS off and moving it by hand. When trying to do the calibration, the motor for the TB can be heard trying to move the plate, but the plate never moves - hence the TPS does not change and calibration fails. I have confirmed that the output for the TB clutch is working and you have hear it when you test it. The DVM also confirms that the ECU is outputing 12V for the clutch. I have also confirmed that the Output for the TB is working with the DVM. SO as of now, I can not find any fault with the wiring or the hardware. The TB also flicks open and closed when there is a change form Setup mode to ON and back to Setup Mode - so that confirms that the ECU is engaging the clutch and driving the TB plate. I have connected a second spare JZ TB and the results are exactly the same with it. So, to me, it would appear that during TPS calibration, the ECU is not engaging the TB clutch and thus failing the calibration. This is my first time with a LINK ECU so I am putting this down to user error. Any help or guidance would be appreciated.
Vaughan
Can you please attach a copy of your basemap and a PCLog of an attempted TPS calibration.
