polzo Posted July 12 Report Share Posted July 12 Hey guys i am trying to get my head wrapped around all this. so i want the ecu to send the status to the razor pdm to turn fan and fuel pump on and off. so got the can aux outputs setup can aux 1 for fan can aux2 for pump in the can setup Ive added the razor pdm. now on the pdm side what do i need to setup for the pdm to turn on the pump. for eg can function 1 output pin cooling fan compound id 0 is this how the can system works with link? second question is How can i send can di to the pdm to say turn on lights or blinkers? If you are wanting to control an output directly from the CAN Aux data from the ECU then yes just select the appropriate output in the CAN function and use Compound ID 0 for CAN Aux 1 and Compound ID 1 for CAN Aux 2 and so on. On 7/12/2024 at 8:14 PM, polzo said: How can i send can di to the pdm to say turn on lights or blinkers? use a GP Output in the ECU with the output set to another CAN Aux and the condition in the GP Output can just be CAN DI = Active, then in the PDM you would use a CAN function but don't set the output pin in that CAN function, just use the "CAN Function x > Status" runtime as your variable to determine when to turn things on or off. polzo Posted July 18 Author Report Share Posted July 18 The software is way to over the top. I have a Morris tech pdm 30 it's simple to set up and it works flawlessly with any ecu. Like for eg I make a simple io status list in emtron can tx file. And then goto my PDM software few clicks it's setup.
