stewart battersby
Am I right in stating that, The numbers for CRANK, POST START and WARM UP ENRICHMENT are Indicative of, A percentage of, the percentage of the maximum injector pulse rate? ashesman
I assume that we are talking about G2/G3 ECU's... They are a percentage of the current fuel value. So if you have a fuel value of 46 in the fuel table and a warm up enrichment of say 200% then the final fuel would be the same as having 92 in the fuel table... Doe that help? Remember that none of the cold start / warm-up enrichments are active at the same time. Ben Prendergast
I posted this over on my thread, but whats the best way to tune warm up enrichment? Is it still a matter of shooting for AFRs?? My columns are basically: 70c=0, 60c=.5, 50c=1, 40c=1.5, 30c=2.5, 20c=8.5, 10c=
ashesman
Read the reply in the other post, but as a general rule warmup numbers will get smaller as temperature increases and be 0 at normal running temperature and maybe even negative above that (but most people dont bother). You should run a 3D warmup table spanned by TPS as you generally need more warmup with a closed throttle than with an open throttle. ashesman
In G2/G3 ECU's numbers as a percentage will work like this: 0% = no addition, 100% = double the fuel, 200% = tripple the fuel (46 + (2 x 46)). That ensures that 0's are used to indicate that no enrichment is used.
