jason1436215400
i have a g4 plug in ecu for sr20 short header.  i am trying to install an iat sensor.  in the installation manual option 1 is too use pin 15 on the header plug since its an temp2.  this pin(15) is used on the header plug and described as for 'diagnosis' in the link manual.  in the ecu pinout i have pin 15 is described as 'transmit (data sent from control unit) '.  pin 7 is 'receive data.....'.  is this the oem diagnostic loop and can be unplugged since link ecu does self diagnosis? not sure if this is an error on links part but why is an temp 2 wired to a used pin and not an unused pin?  please help, this iat wiring is the only thing im unsure of before starting the car.
Top Tune NZ
i suggest you use a excess loom and use an temp three from this it plus directly into the main board inside the ecu it will save you a headache. cheers ross
