Guest |99|
Hi Brain, Can you let me now if the V88 has the knock circuitry built in as the help file says that not all ECUs have the circuitry. I currently have the Std. MY95 Subaru knock signal connected to PIN B9 (Knock Input No.1) however the signal is reading '65535' which is way off-scale. Any suggestions as to what may be wrong. I am also using the ECT sensor type as "Bosch NTC". When the engine has reached normal operating temp the reading is showing 101C which seems to be too high. rayhall
All V88 have knock circuity inbuilt. The V44 and plug in require an external amplifier. Make sure you have knock control enabled and "On Knk I/P" is selected. Without the knock enabled, from memory you do get a value of 65535 showing. Ray.
