Guest |189| Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 I have a my00 sti, with the dip switches in the correct orientation for a immobilizer fitted the tacho doesn't work, with switches in other position keypad immobilizer doesn't work but tacho does, has anyone else found this problem???? rayhall Posted January 21, 2009 Report Share Posted January 21, 2009 The dip switches swap the crank and cam signals on cars with and without immobilizers. They have nothing to do with the immobilizer itself. The engine and the tacho will only work if you have them set correctly. The wrong way, and you get no tacho and an engine that will not run. Ray.
