rayhall Posted May 4, 2009 Report Share Posted May 4, 2009 As the communication is by USB the signals are very weak and prone to interference. When the software gets corrupted data, it has to wait for good data to arrive. This causes the freezing. There is new software and firmware about to be released that has improved comms to help with this. On some low power laptops with a lot of junk loaded in the background, the freezing can be more common. If you use a laptop with a serial port and the Vipec Serial Cable, the risk of corrupted data is greatly reduced. Ray. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
