Guest |229|
Hi all. First ill explain my new setup. 2 fans on my IC, and 2 fans on my watercooler. 1 relay to control both IC fans, 1 relay to control the 2 watercooler fans. Both relays are connected the same way so Ill just explain one of them. All fans got permanent ground connection, the relays switch +12volt to fans. The switching part of Relays are connected to permanent 12+, and each relay are then connected to my vipec v44. IC fan relay on AUX 3, watercooler fans relay on AUX 2, to get the ground connection to swith from the vipec. Both are setup as GP output. It all works perfect until i take ignition of the car. Then the watercooler fan relay starts to click click click click click. Not fast, maybe with a small second intervals. If i put ignition back on it stops and works perfect. Should i use a thrid relay that is switched by ignition power to cut power to the fan relays, when ignition is off..? Thanks for the help. Guest |229|
Solved it by using a switched relay from the ignition. It cuts power to the 2 fan relays.
