rayhall
The CAN bus port operates as a serial data port at the moment. This is the information on data stream format and how to acquire the data http://www.vi-pec.com/techdata/ViPEC_Datastream_Acquire.pdf If you need help with code to read the data I can help with examples. There are flying lead cables available from the dealers that can be used to connect to the CAN port. Ray.
Guest |289|
Some example code wold be great. My email is coby_mattinson at hotmail.com When you say at the moment, if/when will you be updating it to CANbus stream?
rayhall
I will email you some code in a few hours. The CAN port has both serial and CAN bus capability. For the moment only the serial operates. CAN bus will be added. At the moment we do not know when. It is on the list of things to add. Ray.
Guest |289|
I got the code examples thanks Ray. I've done a bit of almel programming before so that should be pretty easy. Serial is good, CANbus is complicated for individual users like myself to write programming for, almost immpossible to know how each standard and protocol function enough to use it.
