Guest |121|
I started another project to built evo 7 GT-A (auto gearbox) with v44. What are the minimum pins input to v44 so it will work as "piggy back" ecu? Here are short list of pin I came up with, appreciate some help here. It would be great if someone share the evo 7 GT-A ecu diagram, I spent more than 6 hours just to trace 2 wires. - ignition coil - injector - ISC - 12v - tacho - ignition sw - ect - tps - crank & cam Thanks! rayhall
Ryan, If you want the V44 to reset the idle valve when you turn the ignition off, you would need an output to control the EFI relay for ECU hold power. Other then this your list looks correct. When sharing the coolant temp sensor, either the original ECU or the V44 will need to have the pull-up resistor removed. The other option is to use a volt input rather then a Temp input for the ECT. You will not be able to just select a sensor type, and will have to use a Cal or Cal Table to scale the sensor.
