Guest |216|
Hi. Is there any wiring diagram of how to hook up the single Vanos S50B30 engine? And the settings? I have found for the double vanos s30b32.
rayhall
I do not have one for engines with single Vanos, but would think the cars with single could use the double wiring information. Digital 1 and Aux 3 and 4 would not be used. Ray.
Guest Hic
As I remeber, if this VANOS is the same as on the 2.8L engine, then it is just a solenoid, ON/OFF.
Guest |216|
Hic The s50b30 have a single variable camshaft. Not a on/off. Ray Thanks for the info I will try the to hook it up like you said. It will not be for quite some time yet.
Guest Hic
Yes, but if you work on the dyno, you could see from the esults that you can just use 2 positions. On and Off. You will loose maybe a few Nm....not worth of playing with it for hours.
