Guest |306|
Hey guys, Just wondering for those of you using a v-88 and stock MKIV Supra TT knock sensors, what "normal" knock voltages are you getting? I want to tune for higher boost, just want to make sure Thanks, Jeremy
rayhall
I am using the stock knock sensors on my 2JZ-GTE. As there are two sensors, the knock level is doubled. These are my settings. Gain = 1.0 Freq = 7.0 Table values at 7000 rpm. 180 kpa = 600 200 kpa = 700 220 kpa = 900 240 kpa = 1000 Ray.

Guest |306|
We used those settings, but our knock counts were much higher than 1000! Even sometimes in neutral when revving the car, we were getting some weird knock. We are going to research this some more, but all cars might be somewhat different? Maybe its a JDM vs. USDM thing. rayhall
My engine is a JDM if that matters. You can get the knock level into range by adjusting the Gain and Frequency settings. Ray.
