Guest |497| Posted January 19, 2010 Report Share Posted January 19, 2010 I need to create a custom mount for my V88 in my Supra and I've see a few pics of ViPEC's mounted with nothing going around the outside. rayhall Posted January 19, 2010 Report Share Posted January 19, 2010 The mounting bracket for the V88 has four mounting holes. The V88 then snaps into the bracket and is held very very firmly by the groves on the side of the case. The ECU is held that firmly that removing the ECU from the bracket is not easy. Ray. A friend of mine owns JeremyN's former Supra and Jeremy created his own mount, so I'm curious to examine that bracket and make my own. It's not that complicated. [email protected] You're correct in saying that I didn't recieve a bracket with my V88. I figured I didn't get one because I bought mine used, with the previous vehicle it was mounted in being a MR2.
