Guest |538|
Hoping someone could help me just to clear up something for me,i have calibrated my tps sensor,i can not see any percentage on the tps,it will only show 0% at no throttle, and it shows 100% at wot,but its shows nothing between,if i hold my throttle half way it still shows 0%,but shouldn't it show a reading about 50% or there abouts. regards david
rayhall
David, Some TPS have two signals. One from the variable resistor and the other a switch. You could be wired to the switch signal.
Guest |538|
Ray,, You saying to swap the 2 wires around, the throttle body i am using is a xf throttle body. regards david
rayhall
David, No..I am saying there are some TPS that have two signals. One of them is an on/off switch. I do not think the XF TPS has twin signals. Make sure the volt input you are using for TPS is correct, and the minimum and maximum values are set to 0 and 5 volts.
