Guest |471|
Please update your profile setting with the ECU model and serial number. Ray. Updated Ray, sorry didn't know about it Have had a little play but had to use supplied cable in the USB port to talk to Racepak dash so haven't played further. Currently intercooler spray switch is turning on LC though this is not ideal as cannot tell if it's on or off ? worth changing to toggle switch ? rayhall
You should wait to setup the launch control as there has been very big changes in this area. The new version works very well. Setting just the control range and rpm limit and it will give a very good result. The current limiter is not very good, and this is the reason so much work has been done in this area. Ray. Guest |471|
OK have seen there is a firmware upgrade ? Ray do you think it necessary to check tune on a dyno after a firmware upgrade ?
rayhall
The tune of your engine will not change after the firmware update. It is very important that when you do the firmware update you read the release notes screen and check and change the items that effect your map. This is the release notes http://www.vi-pec.com/techdata/ECU_FirmwareUpgrade4-5-0.pdf If there is nothing you need in the new firmware, then you do not have to do the update. Ray.
