Guest Simon Willis
The feature (name escapes me) where it switches the air con clutch off if TPS > x %. Would it be possible to add a timer to this, so that it waits for TPS < x% AND Timer Expired (say 10s) before switching the air con back on again? I'm just thinking that if you've decided to give it WOT through a few gears, then the air con will kick in between gear changes, etc. I think the timer would add some extra protection to the compressor. rayhall
I think the name you want is hysteresis. There is going to be timers added. Not sure if they will be in the firmware about to be released. Ray.
Guest Simon Willis
Yeah I guess that if you can set up the hysteresis so that it switches aircon back on at a low throttle position it might to the trick, but I think a timer would work better.
