Guest |229|
Hi all. Is there an "easy" way to setup the software to work with bigger injectors. I have it tuned now for use with the std 370Cc injectors, but will mount some 800cc next weekend. What to change, so i am as close as possible with the mixture when i try to start ip up? Change the master? If injectors are lets say 50% bigger, i reduce the master with 50%, and it should be near?
Guest |216|
Yes reduce the master with 50% and you should be close.

Guest |471|
Am in the same process and changing injectors from 560 to 1050, is the master (13ms) reduced to 6.5ms acceptable to get it to the tuners, I think 6.89ms is exact no ?
Guest Hic
Yes, but you should use 7ms and have no fear that you can drive to the dyno.
rayhall
With firmware 4.5.0 or later, there is a master fuel trim %. This can be -50 to 50. To get your 6.89 you would set the master to 7 msec and set the trim to -1.5 Ray.
Guest |588|
Is that just a quick option for changing injector sizes and all that needs to be done during a final tune is input the correct lag/dead time and map it to suit?
rayhall
If you change just the fuel pressure then no retuning would be needed. Different injectors would require retuning. Ray.
Guest |588|
What I'm meaning to ask is, if I was to put larger ingectors in would I just need to change the dead time then tune as normal?
