Guest |526|
Prior to the update I was using the AC idle up table to open up the throttle body for anti-lag use on my DBW Subaru. After the update, when I push the AC button, the digital input for the AC request cycles to Active - Off - Active - Off basically every second. Prior to the update my anti-lag was working perfectly now it cycles on and off. Any ideas? On the other hand, the new launch control features and limiters are very good! rayhall
Can you email me your map so I can do some testing. [email protected] Ray.
rayhall
Arthur, What switch are you using connected to Digital 3 (AC Request) 1. The standard AC button on the dash. 2. A switch you added. If so what is on the other side of the switch. 12v or ground.
Guest |526|
I have it connected to the standard AC button on the dash. I changed Digital 3 to a GP Input and it works fine like that. Active when the light is on and Off when the light is off. However, when it's set as AC Request, it cycles on and off for some reason. Never did this before. Guest |526|
Ray, Just sent you another email. Noticed the Auxilary Injection fails to work now. -Arthur
Guest |526|
Any updates? Pretty frustrated how the update caused my auxilary injection to stop working even though it said it was active. My Aquamist HFS-5 did not receive any signal from the Vi-Pec therefore it did not see the need to spray methanol and trigger the failsafe. Going back to the older firmware on the same map everything worked as it had before but the damage had already been done for few pulls I did before noticing the auxilary injection failure. Now I have 2 cracked sleeves and 2 melted pistons. Cylinder 3: Cylinder 4: Piston 2 Piston
rayhall
That is very disappointing to see. Not that I needed pictures. You could have just emailed me. What do you want me to do. For the future, we are going to change the warning in the firmware update screen...where it warns you to not do firmware updates before motorsports events, to a warning that "All systems must be fully tested before the engine is put under load" Current firmware version 4.5.1 has this fixed.
