rayhall Posted June 15, 2010 Report Share Posted June 15, 2010 Adam, The Vipec has over the SMC, Software selectable ignition dwell. More Digital inputs More Analog inputs More Aux outputs. More ignition outputs (V88 model). Support for reluctor type sensors, with software selectable thresholds. 4MB of logging memory. You can switch between fuel and ignition tables. There are many features. If you look though the software you will see them. The V44 can be compared to the SM4, with four less injector outputs. The V88 is far more capable. Ray.
