Guest |710|
We have a Vi-PEC V88 in a 94 Supra and are using an AEM 3.5bar map sensor. When trying to setup the low output value to -14.7psi @ 0.5v we get the error message "Value sent to ECU is outside Max/Min bounds, No change made". We've been unable to find where the Max/Min bounds are set to enable the updating of the field. Can anyone point us to where we need to make the change?? Guest |59|
Try looking under "Analog Inputs" and then "Fault settings".
Guest |710|
Been there, it appears the "Fault Settings" establish the voltage range (min and max) for the sensor along with a "default" value if the sensor fails. It doesn't establish the range of values the voltage can represent (which I thought the Cal 5 setting was doing) for the sensor, which in my case needs to be from -14.7psi (-100kpa) to 35.3psi (243kpa). Guest |129|
-14.7psi is actually 0kpa... it's -100mgp. Try using 0kpa as the low value and 343 as the high value.
