Guest |722|
I'm trying to setup open loop boost control and have done the following steps: - boost control: open loop - rpm threshold: 2000rpm - map threshold: 100kpa Gear limit boost is all set to 0 Whole wastegate table is set to 35%. Whenver I rev the engine when stationary, I can get the wastegate to activate per my logs. However, as soon as I start driving, I get NO wastegate control. All of the data in the logs read 0. Am I missing something incredibly obvious? I know the wategate works - have verified with the Test (PWM) function, but it just doesn't seem to activate at all when moving. rayhall
The Boost Solenoid status and Active Boost Table status are new with 4.7.0 and I am sure only relate to Closed loop operation. Log Wastegate Duty to see what is happening. The reason for no extra boost may be the 35% this is a low number if the WG is external and the big restrictor is used. Ray. Guest |722|
Logged wgdc shows all zeros except when revving the engine when stationary. Using the 0.8mm restrictor on the previous revision of the software.

Guest |722|
Ray, Problem was WGDC trim for the gears was still stuck at -100% even though I zeroed it out. Odd. Guess it didn't store properly. Working now, thanks.
