  1. Hello. Im in search of a base map for ignition and fuel on my starlet with a 4age silvertop. Im using a vipec v88 ecu. Im running ls2 coils, STD injectors, bosch 044 fuel pump and a ss header with 2,5 inch exhaust to the back. -Sindre :)
  2. Iv just got my 4age started up, seems to be running very rich, blacks out the plugs instantly. And also really struggled to idle, it climbs then falls, unplugging the idle valve makes no change, but putting 12v to it you can hear it open up. Il attach the start up map and maybe someone can see something wrong in the map? I'm very new to ecu's and tuning so don't know what to look for Thanks 4age 20v 2.1.pclr
  3. Hi guys, Im in the wiring phase of my 4AGE turbo build and see in my link storm documentation that Aux output 1-4 are used for high frequency outputs. I am wondering if VVT control needs to be on one of the AUX 1-4 outputs, Its a basic on/off switched solenoid but I dont know what frequency is suitable to get it to work as intended. Documentation in the pclink help section only seems to say it should be wired to AUX 1-4. should I swap the vvt and tacho output around? Will tacho be fine on AUX 5? Current AUX output below: Auxiliary output 1 - ISCV pin 1 Auxiliary output 2 - ISCV pin 2 Auxiliary output 3 - Boost control solenoid Auxiliary output 4 - Tacho Auxiliary output 5 - VVT Auxiliary output 6 - Rad fan 1&2 Auxiliary output 7 - Fuel pump relay Auxiliary output 8 - Spare ANy guidance appreciated thanks
  4. VE is definitely way different with alpha-n at idle rpm and AC on vs off, and short of a full 4D fuel table I don't see a supported method of working around it. This is the right trim to use, but it's locked to injector millis and thereby traditional fueling. In modeled alpha-n: AC turns on increasing demand.Engine goes lean with stall compensation via IAC solenoid.Engine dies.By adding 32.5% to my idle cells in a 4D fuel map I've worked around this, accomplishing stable lambda across AC state transitions; but this should be a supported use case. 5. For my 4age 20v Blacktop I'd like to trigger VVT like the factory ECU, considering ECT, TPS (or maybe mgp) and RPM. I'm just uncertain about the best way to model this in PCLink with regard to volumetric efficiency. I think advancing intake cam by 30 crank degrees changes VE - if this is true, what's the right way to account for it in PCLink? It's a little more complex than just filling in the VE table, since the same throttle position & rpm can have advance or not depending on coolant temperature (and maybe other factors). I have an aux set to CAM-Switched with a virtual aux condition chained to get a couple more conditions. Dual Table Mode set to Dual Table, activated by the VVT aux trigger. The most obvious solution to me is to use the 2nd fuel table and basically tune the engine twice. Is there a better way to handle triggered-VVT VE shifting on a modeled fueling tune? 4age 20v modeled.pclr
