Patrick
Hi I'm thinking of mounting my AIT sensor on my intercooler (outlet) tank, is this suitable or should i really try to mount it closer to the throttle body for an accurate reading. Scott
Good afternoon, We do recommend have the IAT sensor mounted as close as possible to the throttle body. This is because you could have some variance in temperature from your intercooler to your throttle body due to engine heatsoak. An IAT sensor on the intercooler is better than no IAT sensor at all, and some cars do have the IAT located on the intecooler from factory. Up to you in the end. Cheers, Scott
