  1. So i installed an expansion harness to my E36 G4x and wired in an extra fuel pressure and oil sensor sensors. I am using the Prosport 3 wire sensors (Power, ground, signal) and in wired in the sensors as such: - Both sensor powers ----> ECU 5v Power Wire - Both sensor grounds -------> ECU Ground Wire - Fuel Pressure Sensor signal to VOLT4 (analog) - Oil Pressure Sensor signal to VOLT5 (analog) I am having issues connecting this to my LINK / AIM Dash though. How do i enable this? I went to both PC LINK and RACE3 to view both the ECU and DASH and i cant find out how to enable the signal so i can see it through my screen. need to help plz.
  2. The dash cables dont show a CAN H/L connections. They show: - Power - Ground - Rx - Rt - Reverse Would i connect the Rx and Rt to CAN? If so which would be CAN H and CAN L.
  3. A few days ago i loaded the base map to my E36 and everything worked fine.. car started andI was able to connect to my PC and make any changes necessary. I recently purchase the LINK LAMBDA sensor as well as the AIM MXS Strada screen along the CAN PCB & CAN F to be able to wire them in. I wired the Units as it was instructed: LINK LAMBDA: - Power - Ground - CAN PCB / F: Can Hi inputs - CAN PCB / F: Can Lo inputs AIM / LINK Screen: - Power - Ground - CAN PCB / F: Rx inputs - CAN PCB / F: Rt inputs - Reverse Cable (left unused) Now my ECU will not connect to my PC unless i disconnect the CAN PCB harness from the ECU. Im thinking that the CAN PCB might be triggering a second signal or something to the ECU.
  4. I have the Link G4+ PnP in my BMW E36 with an M50B30 Engine. If i am not mistaken, the ecu itself has igniters to run all the OEM BMW Coilpacks. I want to make the switch to AUDI R8 coilpacks and I know that these are smart coilpacks in comparison to the oem BMW ones.. Once I rewire the Audi Coilpacks to the Engine Harness, I have read that i have to change the dwell time to ignite the new Audi Coilpacks. Now do i need to do anyting else? I have heard that i have to remove something from the ECU. Thank you!
  5. This is exactly the info that i was looking for and it makes perfect sense. Thank you! What resistor would you recommend?
  6. Still waiting for my CANPCB to arrive. i got the CANF in the mail this week. I have another question though, I also purchased the AIM/LINK MXS Strada dash which also requires to be connected to CANL and CANH.. can i tie in both the LINK lanmbda CAN H & L and the screen's CAN H & L through through the same CANPCB CAN H & L? Will there be any signal interference if i do?
  7. I bought a G4+ PNP for my E36 as well as a wideband Lambda sensor for it. Then went ahead and purchased the expansion loom as in the link webpage is says that its used to wire an external wideband AFR/ LAMBDA. The LAMBDA instructions say to wire in the wires to 12v, Ground, CAN H & CAN L however the expansion loom does not have CAN H and CAN L... where do I wire these in in the loom?! Help please. Thank you.
