  1. Thank you sir. It is. I'll see how I go from here, will probably go back to F1 example inputs and test.
  2. Should be? Don't tell me the target is absolute pressure (MAP) and not MGP? As i could understand then the overshoot of 10ishPSI! In Open Loop I think it was masked by the fact the smaller TD04 would ONLY hit 23psi, however now with the VF43 it needs control. So potentially it was never right? I can go back to open and reset and try again. But... What is target? gauge or absolute pressure? Thanks Duh - MAP based (correct me if wrong)
  3. Pulled it all apart, then put it all back together again (Good excuse to put bigger turbo on), VERY minor leak at IAT found fixed that and tested for anything else. Not found. However (Should have done this in the first place) disabling IAT resulted in it going VERY rich, so the IAT sensor and whatever table it was has been the change. I'm now mucking around with the charge temp approx table, and making sure that's the only thing that's playing into IATs (trimming etc) I have turned off IAT fuel correction. This is my table (CTA) No idea if that's ideal, I mean I want IATs to take over basically when the car is moving and boost is coming in? - Not sure how it determines how much fuel to compensate for as well, my want was that if it's 5degrees outside (cooler air = leaner) then 25 degrees outside (warmer air = richer) i want to see the same AFR (targeting 11.5ish on E85) Cheers
  4. Guys & Girls/Girls & Guys, CL boost control.... working, sometimes... Sometimes i hit the target, other times I don't? I think it's dependent of maybe what 'stage' i land in? Obviously want to target quick spool and 22psi however, I can get pretty close to that some of the time, other times it will land around 15ish. Not cool. This is regular though, on the same drive, even changing from 2nd to 3rd for example (22ish in 2nd / 15ish in 3rd) Nothing in the trim tables is causing this, logs confirm this too. Basic detail WRX, 207, My98 heads, VF43 turbo, E85 / all supporting mods Cheers! boostbttr.llgx
  5. Thanks Adam for the response. I agree, I feel it's an external issue as well, I think i've created a vacuum leak, however unsure where/how as i've used new hose and checked everything. Or I've fixed one, however i'd only expect it to be richer vs leaner if that was the case. Weird. Will report back though. Thanks for the help appreciate it!
  6. Thought I did! However, was too large. 3 large logs in total (post changes) Links: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Q_e_1V5ZqJ2FWfx6QsbGYVUKzTC3Qs54/view?usp=sharing https://drive.google.com/file/d/1TG0BiEh-a5nsvOvyQCjtk0j2ItHJx6re/view?usp=sharing, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1xWz826UrCCczcpUB3VA2cmS2KEweqc9e/view?usp=sharing Also good news RE: Link not using the pressure sensor.
  7. Fuel pressure sitting normal. I think i'll plumb the map sensor back how i had it tomorrow and see what that does, I'll also test with another vac hose incase this one is cracked or partially blocked. Weird though. And... One last thought Adam, what is the Link doing with the pressure exchange solenoid valve? - I understand what it's function is with a stock ECU car, however unsure if the Link is using it? I still have it plugged in, however no vac hoses are connected to it. Could it still be in use? As previously it was technically in use with the Link map sensor, just unsure if the ECU (link) was doing anything with it?
  8. Thanks Adam for your response! Consider the log uploaded in this response as old MAP sensor plumbing and pre any changes. - (sometime in Feb this log was from) Ah, no worries will look into that now. Thanks. Not yet, i have the flex sensor sitting ready to go in, however car was fine, drove into shed, sat for maybe a week, max 2 (until i had time) then made the changes and started it and went, that's weird... and not normal. It's behaving fine with map 27 now, I mean a few more lean areas to clean up and transient throttle needs some attention, just worried i'm masking something with adding more fuel really. Few other mechanical things I'll check as well/replace too - vac hoses, FPR and replace with new fuel filter. The way the MAP sensor was plumbed in (Originally) is that OK? Or is it best practice to just run a vac hose from MAP sensor directly to manifold? (That's the only thing i can think of causing this) Thanks! maderiher022022 (1).llgx
  9. Hi Guys, Interested to learn why I've had to update my VE table with some minor hardware changes made, idle has needed quite a bit of attention and so has light cruise/mid throttle, WOT/full boost seems to be OK... (touch more fuel) Car: V1/2 WRX electronics, later 207/MY98 head engine (E85, 1000ccs etc) Changes: 1. removed standard Subaru 3 port BCS and replaced with mac solenoid (same plumbing) 2. re-routed vac hose on Link map sensor, it was previously plumbed in like the stock car. (See images attached of what i am talking about) Original config - Basically MAP sensor > Pressure Exchange solenoid valve > intake manifold New config - Link Map sensor > Intake manifold 3. IAT (never had one in) added one, however... I have adjusted the tables for fueling and ignition changes so that effectively they are not making any changes, well definitely not at idle! light reduction in timing at 50+ degrees etc. (Non hardware changes) Properly setup CL, target AFR table and long term trims, however these are now band aiding the issue, with them disabled the car runs lean, and idle is quite rough, and will try and hit target RPM and hunt. (However once closed loop kicks in (30second delay) it sorts it out. I've attached map "26" and map "27" - Map 26 = pre-changes and 27 post. I'm going to try map 26, that does not have anything for IAT, CL/target AFR table etc and see if it behaves the same or different, however looking for input and it's going on the dyno Friday haha. Update - back to map26 (pre hardware changes) still the same issue, very lean everywhere (didn't go into boost) 1.12-1.16 lambda on the gauge. I've attached the log for this as well. Pulled over and recalibrated the MAP sensor again as well. Cheers! 10. Thanks Adam! Will investigate some new sensors! Cheers
  11. Amazing work and impressive level of troubleshooting and detail! So thanks for that. Currently in the same position here, have older style 2pin sensors, however happy to ditch the gauges, is it still possible to wire in the sensors directly to the Link G4x? (asking as some things don't work wjth the G4X that did in the +) There's mentions of them being crappy sensors? I'm keen to use for engine protection, low pressure - shut down/limit etc can someone explain why crap and if they could be used for protection or not. Cheers!
