Hi there unfortunately i have lost my original tuning cable so i bought a usb cable and repin with diagram i found on the link forums but everytime i try to connect it says usb device not recognise i tried with multiple cables but same issue what settings do i need to turned on or anything please help

Well thanks for the information i tried to remove the pins with several tools unfortunately couldn’t make it so i rejoined all the wires change cam and crank sensor to hall type changed some settings and using the car since a month without any issues ..

There may be some thing to do with these 2 can bus wires i tried searching alot but didn’t get anything on the internet mine is m52 not m53 i am stuck at this point

The transmission is in limp mode i have wired according to the pinout link has mentioned in its wiring m52 has can low wire on pin 85 and can high on pin 86 which is i left blank because I couldn’t find where to connect these 2 wires may be this is why the transmission is in limp mode i drove the car and i saw the speedo is in working

alright i will use it with 12 volts as i already said above i tried with 12 volts as well if any settings have to be done in the trigger setting can you check and do it for me ? i have attached my pcl file did you check my trigger scope file? the cam signal is fine ? bmwe36 M52.pclx

In ecu setup it has selected to relucter type i have attached snapshot as well plus i have tried with 12 volt as well but triger 1 stays off in runtime values i am using base map whatever settings comes by default it is as it is..

The car is not starting even i have replaced the cam sensor with hall type from a bmw n42 somehow i managed to check in runtime values i am getting cam signal but i am not getting crank signal attaching the snapshot i checked the wiring twice and what i see crank sensor is not getting 5 volts from the ecu which is ecu pin 16 in my application what can be the cause ?as it should be a direct 5V output from ecu when i turn ignition to on.. i have 5 volts on cam sensor even on throttle sensor I unlocked the ecu upgraded the firmware but no luck yet

hi now i can test guel injector and ignition coils this is fine now the car is not starting i used bmw N42 cam sensor which is i read is a hall effect sensor i wired according i am attaching trigger scope log as well i dont have spark and fuel what to check further? TriggerScopeLog n42.llgx and yes i checked on the crank sensor i dont see 5 volts at the sensor the 5 volts pin at the senor connector is coonected on the pin1 yellow to the ecu pin 16 i am sure but i think there should be 5 volts for the sensor what could be the reason ?

Yes you were right i will look for a M50 cam sensor . in the cam sensor i wired pin -1 12v ,pin-2 sensor main and pin-3 to ground do you mean i will require a separate 12v for crank sensor too or it will get from the ecu? ignition coils not working in test mode .. what wiring issue it could be i have double checked ignition wiring have 12V , ground the signals wires also connected anything you can guide further?
