  1. At this point after the confusion and unfortunate events that have taken place here there isn't much urgency. I would just like to have it working properly. I think before I send the ecu back to NZ and get it modified I would like to try the A 0-5V analog output. Do you have any experience with this method? will I notice a big difference in the tuning and drivability going to an analog method? Could you also show how that would be wired if its a possible option.
  2. You are correct that ticket was for the repairs. I was talking with Jason Oefelein a member of your customer service with regards to have the ecu swapped out. Thank you for taking the time to explain why I'm having these issues. If I connect the can 1 the way it was done before would that mean I lose can 2 functions? Do you have any recommendations for correcting my problem here. Use the link can lambda so it can all communicate on can 2?
  3. 20369 is the ticket number and I have a list of emails regarding the matter. I had really hoped that my reasons for replacing the board were understood but I guess not. Thank you for the help. And I hope I get some good news from your reply. Could I use the 0-5v and RS232 Serial Port for my aem x series gauge and leave can 2 network alone for the car? I'm not exactly sure what can 2 is used for on the jzx100 but I guess that's going to be my only option in making it work as can 1 and can 2 cant be used at the same time with different items.
  4. Link had added the wires to the board to make it function and I was told the issue was resolved on the new board so I was shipped a brand new ecu so there wouldn't be any wire on the back side of my ecu. I really hope I'm not running into the exact same issue again. If that's the case and the new ecu won't work on either can network does that mean I have to re solder wires to my brand new ecu again? I must say thats a very upsetting situation if thats correct.
  5. Sorry that tune was from when it was working its the same tune I have in the new ecu now but here's a log and the current tune saved off the ecu while the cars running. .pclx no can network.llgx
  6. Hello I had purchased a jzx100 plug and play ecu and was having issues with the can network. turns out there were some issues with the board so i made it work a different way with the help of everyone on here. Now I have since gotten a replacement board with the can network setup up properly and in doing so I've lost my can communication again. Is there something I need to change now that the can network is corrected on this model? Maybe I should be changing the port its plugged into on the board? I have it in the CAN/RS232 port. Thank you PTC start file 4.7.1.pclx
  7. Hello everyone I've got a 2jzgte vvti single turbo setup. While driving to log it running I'm not seeing boost pressure on my boost target gauge in the engine management software. I've looked over the car for a boost leak and cant find anything. Maybe im missing it or i have another issue but I just wanted to see if I've messed anything up in the tune. Thanks, Paul jzx100 6.4.4 long drive back.zip
  8. Just loaded the tune in and with the key on the lambda shows 6.554 maxed out the gauge on the ecu. This appears to be working for me now and I'm guessing that's the normal reading for engine off gauge on. Thank you everyone with the help. I will be changing that tune to work with my previous changes.
  9. Thank you guys I will try that new tune and see if I can get my gauge to communicate with the ecu. I'll keep you posted with the results.
  10. I have the gauge set to lambda ID 1. Should I change the mode to Can instead of Lambda? I didn't realize there was a can mode i figured it would just talk once it was wired up.
  11. I have gotten my ecu back from being fixed and still have no luck is having the gauge communicate with my ecu. I have updated my tune to what you have suggested and I'm wondering if you can see any other flaws with it. Thanks, Paul Paulsjzx100tune.pclx
  12. I changed the setting and still no communication from the can network. when I try to find the device it never appears. I have talked to customer support and found that the plug and play jzx100 ecus were defective from the factory. If anyone else is having this issue with this ecu I suggest you contact link right away to have it fixed. Im hoping link ecu does the right thing and covers the shipping back to them as well. Thanks, Paul
  13. I'm having issues with my Lambda setup. I have AEMNET + connected to CAN H, and AEMNET - connected to CAN L. It has a 120Ohm termination resistor at the gauge and and nothing at the ecu connector as I've read it has a built in resistor. I cant get the ecu to communicate with the aem x series gauge over can. I have attached my tune. The Lambda 1 is set to aem x series and I've followed the setup to create a channel using the pre assigned x series file. Thanks, Paul pauls e throttle tune_1.pclx
  14. Thank you for the help I changed those setting and tested it all this morning. Here are the results from the log. It sits around 1300 rpm now but hunts for idle. I'm guessing it needs more inputs to get it to be at a stable position. I'm hoping to run my AEM x series lambda gauge into this ecu but I'm waiting on 120 ohm resistors to terminate my harness. I will leave the rest for my tuner to sort out now. PC Datalog log test 3.llgx
  15. Hello everyone I'm having a issue with my jzx100 link g4x plug and play ECU. Its running a 2jzgte vvti with a bosch 74mm E throttle, 1000cc bosch injectors and yaris coil packs. I started with the Link 1jzgte vvti base map and I have changed what I thought was necessary to make it work correctly. I've calibrated the pedal, throttle body and map sensor and still have no luck. Every time i start the car its revs all the way to 4000 rpm and idles there. I've changed the rev limit now so it wont go over 2000 rpm but it backfires and runs terrible now. I have attached my tune and a log from it cold starting in the hopes that someone on here can catch the mistakes I've made or help me problem solve the issue I've created for my self. Thanks, Paul pauls e throttle tune_1.pclx PC Datalog - 2022-03-22 11;49;00 am.llgx
