Revnic
2jzgte vvti, using Fury g4x ecu and custom harness. Ignition output 1-6 have been wire to each coil. Using r35 coils and I've set up a base map but when cranking the ignition timing seems off as it pops and back fires. Does anyone see a reason why. This tune worked for the original waste spark ignition before the conversion Supra-mk4-tune v2.pclx 2JZ VVTI LINK G4X FURY RHD.xlsx
Vaughan
Have you tried changing the trigger offset by 360deg?
Revnic
@Vaughan no I haven’t, the offset is 0.0 how do I change that?
Vaughan
Double click on Set Base Timing and then change the number in the middle box to 360. Don't forget to press enter after entering the number in the box before clicking "Done"
Revnic
@Vaughan Changed it to 360 and still nothing
Vaughan
Can you attach a log and trigger scope please. Also have you done an ignition test on each coil to make sure they are working? I assume the motor was waste spark previously not distributer.
