  1. Whew I'm not feeling crazy. I'll look at the monsoon map. I'm thinking about just going through and getting all the setup data from the Monsoon and plugin play files and using it to build a calibration file using the FuryX Default calibration file. This way I can check everything as I go. I'll probably have questions along the way lol. The one map 2 map question answer was what I sorta expected and thank you for explaining it a little more to me. Guess it comes down to what I want to do. The VVT using TPS is something I'll look into, I assumed using MAP was best you can adjust based on load. But I have no experience directly with VVT tuning other than the kpro/ktuner setups and they both use map i think been awhile.
  2. One quick question. When I look at this DC5 k20 map. I'm seeing only one fuel table and ignition table. Does that mean you tuned for vtec using only one main fuel table? Also the VVT table seems to reference engine coolant temperature for advancement which seems odd. I'm used yo seeing RPM and Map. Apologies for question if they are dumb. My experience with tuning have always been Hondata and Neptune
  3. Thank you, seemed like that was the way to go. I just didn't know if there was anything I'm loosing out on by using the plug in play as a base since I had the furyX.
  4. I actually maybe have a solution for this problem but would like to talk to you first as it appears you represent link. Would DM be appropriate to speak with you?
  5. Hello as title says, I just bought a FuryX and so now I'm navigating through the process of getting a K24a2 basemap file setup. Can I use the K20 plugin one and change the I/O pin assignment to meet my needs? I'll also need to add DBW. I also see I need to change crank mode to k24. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  6. So I'm wanting to buy a Link ECU. The G4x platform tops out at FuryX I wanted the extra IO and features the Thunder has. I haven't seen any news on a g4x thunder... Is this still in the works? So I'm stuck because I want the newer G4x platform but FuryX is just barely able to meet my needs, I'll end up going into CAN based expansion to solve the IO issues ill have but would love to just buy a Thunder G4x.

    Custom CAN I/O

Thank you, I had reached this conclusion but wanted to make sure. Looks like FuryX is in my future

    Custom CAN I/O

Hello all, I am about to buy a FuryX and I have a question about CAN message customization. If I have created my own custom CAN hardware for I/O am I able to use events in the ecu to send CAN messages to my custom hardware as well as send data from my custom hardware to the FuryX to be used by the ecu? Example I have a interface box that converts the proprietary BUS of a car to CAN data.. one of those messages is a A/C request from the Cars BUS.. so I would need to be able to send a CAN message to the FuryX to be used to trigger A/C. I would also need to send CAN messages to my interface box that contain Oil temperature, coolant temperature and battery voltage. I'll be running out of IO on the FuryX and I want to be able to expand its capabilities but I want to do it through my own hardware designs. Thank you
