  1. Thanks Adam makes sense part number is right , they haven’t removed it but covered part of it with their logo i think this is so people can’t see part number and start selling I guess that happened to me few times before and maybe normal in uk but not in Australia. It seems vendor trying to protect their research time the seller is huge so don’t think they will risk selling doggy injector
  2. Sorry If I sound naive, does this mean using link ecu these are deadtimes so it is closer to reality than what bosch provides if I use link ecu?
  3. Thanks Adamw, appreciate it The data you provided doesn't match the one they did on dead time and also website link below. is the testing your own result? i started to use the one from the ms4x below and created a 3d table for deadtime but nothing in spw. I can see few people in skyline austrlia detailing SPW and also yours so will use one i guess or just have to adjust idle to compensate for spw:) https://www.ms4x.net/index.php?title=Fuel_Injector_Deadtimes#Bosch_0280158124_382cc Skyline forum mentioning the SPW https://www.sau.com.au/forums/topic/473323-ev14-0280-158-040-settings-needed-plz/ I am little cheesed off, paid £540 for these set with top and bottom hat and can see them as cheap as £190 for 6. I guess as long as it is 040, that is it there is no premium 040 and standard! Perhaps they charged me such for research of adaptors needed and big premium for flow matching https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144354468497?chn=ps&_ul=GB&_trkparms=ispr%3D1&amdata=enc%3A15kMEL1fHQjugCTTopRkHDw52&norover=1&mkevt=1&mkrid=710-134428-41853-0&mkcid=2&mkscid=101&itemid=144354468497&targetid=1816181028379&device=c&mktype=pla_with_promotion&googleloc=9046010&poi=&campaignid=19090194174&mkgroupid=147009364227&rlsatarget=aud-1195034332204:pla-1816181028379&abcId=9303860&merchantid=119066900&gclid=Cj0KCQiAj_CrBhD-ARIsAIiMxT8deAZUCkcBcNBsqiuOwFzR5io3V0hVFwpPfhEzhfCTIAk5DninwJYaAhx1EALw_wcB
  4. They finally confirmed injector number is 0280158040 https://www.ms4x.net/index.php?title=Fuel_Injector_Deadtimes#Bosch_0280158124_382cc thanks Adamw:)

    Fan control

Thanks again @Adamw you are a legend. here is how I did mine in car anyone bumps into same issue. opened the fuse box under the bonnet, took wire 86b on second relay which is blue/black to either black and yellow or black and green on first relay. Problem solved. thanks again Adam

    Fan control

Thanks Adam appreciate your input and time taken to explain. given I have a mishimoto fan which doesn’t have low/ high speed, i guess any 12 v whether normal or high speed will provide max power to the fan? i will go and do some digging to find the wires you mentioned. I am little clueless reading diagrams ign 7 to ping 86 of the normal speed relay?

    Fan control

Thanks all that doesn’t seem to work. Here is my findings . I think i ac clutch relay on ign 7 is to turn compressor on and not for the fan I have reallocated ignition 7 on the ecu to engine fan and can confirm it powers the ac clutch relay however no power on the pins connecting to the aux fan, i am wondering does that mean compressor and its not the fan, pretty sure feels that is what it means. I can hear the relay tick sound however no power is getting to the wiring/ 3 pins which were used for ac fan/aux fan I then removed the radiator temp switch and connected ground to 12v and can see power on the three pin which connects to the ac fan/ aux fan. I am trying to now understand what is that temp switch wiring to the ac fan . Does that mean when you request ac, fan won’t come on and only comes on when rad is too hot and pressure switch shorts? there are three pins on pressure switch and 3 pins on fan control wiring. 1 power and 2 ground on temp switch and 2 power and 1 ground on fan wiring depending on what ground you short to the 12 v, you get a different power cable on the fan side. Below is the wiring diagram I could see, not great at reading / understanding however thought I paste in case anyone is good with this
  8. Here is what i received i asked if they have the short pulse width and hoping I get a reply soon
  9. To be fair, these were £600 and injector dynamic £610 I think but chose bosch due to reputation and regretting it now
  10. Cool thanks I pinged them here is what i have received and it is just a certification of flow match . Turbozentrum stated it is bosch who provides this and I said if I don’t have the part number, how can I get the data
  11. Item i received has the code removed as they source parts and don’t want people to know what it the item number. i have contacted them to findout if they can share the info with me
  12. Thanks mate appreciated it i use the 3d model based on fuel pressure. Do you reckon i should use 2 d and ecu will interoperate? i guess there shouldn’t be a big difference between 900cc and 980cc?
  13. Thanks Adam so prob have an issue with wiring somewhere. i removed both canister purge but dont think gauge runs through that. need to workout where it is connected to the
  14. Does fuel gauge work with e36 plugin ? I see aux 4 which is for consumption meter on e36. trying to see how I can get my gauge to work:)
  15. Do you know where I can get Deadtime for my 900cc Bosch injectors? Can't seem to see anything on Bosch website I bought a set of 900c EV14 Bosch injectors and can't seem to see any 900cc online, mostly 1000cc Here is where I bought it from https://turbozentrum.co.uk/Matched-set-of-6-Bosch-fuel-injectors-900ccm-EV14-68mm-Standard Thanks

    Fan control

Thanks that is what I thought re relay as ac fan is quite beefy and big so must have a relay and if I can reuse wiring. so ignition 7 becomes what under the program? I am trying to understand how I get link ecu to read the water temp from rad sensor not the main water temp sensor.

    Fan control

Hi Guys, Could you give me some hints on how to setup fan control for my e36? E36 uses viscous fan and I deleted this and bought mishimoto radiator and electric fan without controller. I plan to use the wiring from the ac control as removed all AC system . any advice or hint is appreciated
  18. I wouldn’t argue this anymore mate but for the last time. What I am stating is I read the e36 manual and advert and nothing there but needed a call to tech team. That is why I asked if you can point out where my research was wrong. That is where my research stops when buying an item, I would say it is reasonable and has worked for me many times. now knowing I had to contact Link to further verify their advert and manual is little overkill but hey that is what it seems to be .
  19. That is info I received from Link technical line guy was very helpful I should say and ecu with him to solder pins to board i will have few spare pins / an volt for future use I would say
  20. Yeah and I was stating Link should say 11 or explain an volt 7 isn’t available. That is all. i know now and guess anyone in future sees this may run into same issue @Confused why do you think there was lack of research? Advert stated 12, read diagram states the same and no mention of an volt 7. Do you expect one to go beyond that to confirm? i have no issues with link and it is a well known ecu however raised my concern Link should prob address this in their advert as one may plan 12 an volt including ones on main head and run into issues
  21. Right and the manual has no mention of an volt 7. I guess Link expect one to know the unknown and not rely on advert from what it seems i checked the manual and there is no mention of pin an volt 7 on the manual so really that small print means contact tech support!
  22. Spoke to Link tech to get my ecu dispatched to solder an volt and aux. he said he will try and do 5 an volt and 2 aux minimum or 4 aux if he can because he doesn’t want wires to cross and …. guy was very helpful however something is annoying me. Link advertise the ecu with 12 an volt and apparently only 11 is available. he mentioned an volt 7 is not available and link advertise the ecu having 12 an volts . my ecu is g4x plug in e36. why would link advert a misleading info? Math below: There is 2 an volt on expansion loom, 4 on board / main wiring which leaves 6. The guy on link tech was adamant an volt 7 is not available therefore we only have 11 volt not 12. little annoyed
  23. Thank you Adam, was very simple and should have played with it more out of interest what does gp stand for as I also see gp in limit for customised rpm limit
  24. another question, on pc link software how can you define something which is not there already for instance I want to add exhaust temp , can't see an option to add or rename exhaust pressure. when you click on input pins, you can't define it. it seems you first have to define it under analog input before you can assign it to a pin
  25. An volt 3 shows as nb oxy and an volt 6 nothing on current ecu so nope. i need to find an volt 3 wire on main wiring (pin 13) and then wire the wide band to and ground of wide band to expansion loom. Is that right? re an6 it is pin 41 so can do fuel pressure that leave me 1 an short for exhaust temp i see the pc link software says we have 12 an leading me to believe link can solder 6 more wires for an volt in.
