Oh the cranking over was a trigger issue. That I have since fixed. On a different note (I haven’t started researching too much yet), PCLink keeps disconnecting from the ECU while tuning and logging now. Or it will say it’s still connected but freeze and not be responding. Particularly happens about 65% throttle or more in a ramp run. Do you know what would cause that? Is it just electrical interference?

it seems to be working now with my laptop... maybe the way I was connecting was the wrong order of operations originally. I uninstalled and deleted everything again and started over and it seems to work now. thanks for all your help.

Hey Adam, I got it working with an older laptop surprisingly, but maybe I just downloaded the firmware incorrectly on my newer laptop? I have a Lenovo Ideapad Flex 5 laptop. Like 2 years old. anything in particular to look at?

Fml. Well… I feel dumb. There’s no vacuum coming from it, must be blocked. Thanks!
-
Yes, I have a line going from intake manifold to vacuum block and it’s plumbed there. I can try to plumb it direct though.
-
So the MAP sensor is seemingly only reading the barometric pressure, but it’s not reading anything at any load. While running and logging it just stays at BAP.
-
Thanks! I’ll take a look today and check all Vband connections.

Couldn’t find any vacuum leaks
-
Thanks Adam, I’m checking for air leaks now. Thinking that’s what it is. I’ll let you know what I find. It runs super rich at idle, I touch the throttle and cuts off

R33Beech reacted to a post in a topic: Best Relay on R33 for CAN Lambda power wire
-
Okay thanks! In my one day of research so far, I can’t seem to find relay wiring diagrams. I asked because my lambda readings were around .68-.70 at idle with lambda table set for .90. I set my injector size, dead time, and pulse width (taken from ID’s website). I was leaning the mixture out and the reading randomly jumped from .88 to 2.1 lambda. Somehow the car didn’t die, I started adding back in and it jumped back to .84. so maybe I chose poorly on the relay?
-
I’ve seen some topics on this that say any relay that turns on with ignition. Any there some that are better than others to get the most accurate readings?
-
Okay that’s what I figured, but doesn’t hurt to check. As always, thanks Adam!

R33Beech reacted to a post in a topic: Cutting plug-in ECU housing?
-
This may be a dumb question.. for the plug-in vehicle specific ECU’s, are there housings that have openings to accommodate the expansion harness, CAN harness, etc? Or do you just have to cut/drill out the housing? just want a clean look if there is a housing that accommodates the potential extra harnesses

ahhh shoot. I’m a noob right now with the software. Thanks!
