  1. Thanks for the reply, I tried manually connecting to no avail. It will connect, but very briefly, less than a second, about enuf time to say online. I can't update, downdate, or even tell what's in it, without connecting.
  2. I just updated the firmware on this unit, now the unit won't communicate with the laptop. It searches for the ecu, says online for like a quarter of a second, then goes offline. It had some errors on the FW update, a popup came up that said I may need to do the update again, which involved cycling the key, then clicking ok, which I did, now this is what I've got. Anyone have any ideas?
  3. Yes, I'm sure Ray had it correct, when I sent it back. Could it be some problem with the old firmware I was running? Maybe the new software, not liking the old firmware? The IAT sensor works fine, on all my V44 units. I don't get any errors, just a 150 degree C reading, on almost all sensors picked, on engine temp sensor. I'm in the US, any way to make the temps read in F? On the triggers, seems odd that one ecu can work fine with the same setup, and the other have nothing but errors.
  4. Queenracing, Do you know for sure that the primaries went off? Seems like Simon is saying that they don't go off, but only the primaries are affected, as far as for fuel trims? Interested in your aux inj setup. I can't see how that would be done, can you elaborate on your setup?
  5. So basically the primaries are sequential, and the secondaries are batch? The problem I have, is I have to remove a lot of fuel to get both cyls correct, I'm running 850cc injectors as primaries, and 2000cc injectors as secondaries. Any suggestions for a better setup? Maybe wasted spark, batch fire, no cam sensor to lose sync with?
  6. This ecu, I figured out, has a 3 bar map sensor. It never would recognize the temp sensor, I even sent it back to Ray years ago, as it had the same problems when I bought it, outta the box. It still has them, Ray said it didn't have any problems, I've never ran it until today. It runs, no trigger errors. I have another new 7 bar V44, outta the box, it also has nothing but trigger errors, no RPM signal at all. It does however, recognize the temp sensor, same map loaded into both units. I did update the firmware on both units, same problems. What's up with my units?
  7. I just noticed that the manual says that only a V88 can do full sequential, staged injection? Is this true? I have a V44, sequential selected, staged injection selected, what do I have going on?
  8. I had a V44 quit running, nothing but trigger errors, swapped to a new ecu, no errors, same map. The new ecu will not recognize the temp sensor, just says 150C almost every sensor that is picked. Also, the new ecu will not calibrate the map sensor, it says it's out of range, when the 7bar is picked. It works fine if I pick the 4bar.
  9. I thought it was correct, but I'm getting funky fueling requirements. If I trim one cyl, it doesn't seem to make much difference to that cyl. How can I check whats happening? I know I can test fire the injectors, but that doesn't mean they are doing the right thing, during operation.
  10. I'm running a V44, 2cyl, odd fire, staged injection, turbocharged, burning methanol, sequential. My question is wiring of the injectors, do I wire my primary inj output to 1 & 2, to cyls 1 & 2, with my secondaries first cyl wired to output 3, & second cyl wired to output four? I've read the manual, the above seems to be correct, but there is a place in the manual where it says that secondaries should be wired to the even outputs?
