so i wish to setup my check engine light as both an indicator for any ecu fault codes as well as a warning light for other potentially harmful situations. these include: -Excessive knock values (>xx) (side note; what sort of figure is considered excessive knock?) -Overrev (RPM>8000) -Overboost (MAP>260kPa) -Overheat (ECT>100*C) -Low oil Pressure (ANV5 < xxxkPa) -Oil overheat (ANT3 > 115*C) to do this, i have followed the instructions in this thread here: http://www.linkecu.com/forums/LinkWishList/671614950 but i made some changes; i set auxiliary output 6 (connected to my CEL) as a GP Output with the logic of cond 1 or 2 or 3 and set each condition as each virtual auxiliary outputs (ie 'SW cond 1 = aux virtual value1 = ON'; and 'aux virtual value1 = ON = 1'). for the virtual auxiliary outputs i set 1 and 2 as GP outputs with three conditions and set those conditions as the parameters listed at the start. for virtual auxiliary output 3 i just set it as a CE light. so i assume that any of those conditions will then operate my auxiliary output 6 am i correct? if not, can anybody help me with how i could achieve this? also i could not for some reason set my EGTs as a warning to trigger the light as when i would try to set a condition to ANV7>(whatever) it would say too high and anything below 0 it would say too low? also i noticed a mixup in the table for ANV4&5, they have no < symbol, only two > symbols. so i have a bit of a dillema, ive taken a bit of a break during wiring in my computer but come back to it and just checking everything and it seems i have a wrong coloured wire in one of my plugs, i have a solid grey cable where i believe i should have a grey/brown for digital input 2. can i assume that this wire is still digital input 2? as i have confirmed that it has a grey/black, a white/brown, a grey/red and a red/blue surrounding it. thanks, Brad.

just a quick question as to whether or not trigger cables have specific rules regarding where and how they must be routed. reason for asking is i have a main alternator charge lead running along the top of my 13b block and i plan on also running my loom parellel to this lead (although wrapped seperately not together); trigger pickup will be a hall effect sensor on a 36-tooth wheel if that matters? im currently sorting out everything i need to keep/remove from my factory wiring when i wire in my extreme ecu, and i have a question regarding electrical load. my car is an fd rx7 and the standard computer has a terminal that is listed as having below 4.0V when there is a heavy electrical load on the engine and 5.0V when there isnt. i'm just wondering whether or not the link has an electrical load idle-up function and if it does, how would i go about connecting/setting this up? thanks, Brad.
