Looking at the wiring diagrams for the 1uzfe, the coils, there seem to be nothing for the vvti engine with coil on plug. Are they the same as the 2uz for wiring. Another thing I'm planning to use the electric throttle for the idle control. It's controlled by four wires, One pair of wires open and closes the valve the other two seem to operate a sort of clutch that slows down, dampens the throttle valve. what would be the best way to operate it. My concern is that if the valve is dampened it might not operate quick enough causing idle problems. Any ideas Finally, the vvti engine has what is called acoustic control which operates a set of valves in the inlet manifold to change the length of the inlets. This is operated by a solenoid which uses manifold vacuum to open these vales. Is there any way to control these.

Just starting to program all the settings on the xtreme ecu. All my sensors are the 5 volt type, well they are all the outputs from my PLX gauges. The thing is I'm not too sure on the MAP sensor, as the PLX goes from vacume (-15 psi) to boost (+30 psi). Is the ecu set up on absolute pressure, ie that normal pressure is at aproximatly 15psi and not 0. So at 1 bar of boost the ecu works on 2 bar absoulte. Also is there any wiring diagrams to set up the 1uzfe vvti engine, Any thing would be a help.

Is the E throttle enabled on any xtreme ecu. Â Can you make the ecu do cruse control.

Hi, having just got hold of  an xtreme ecu and looking at the 1uz loom things look a bit, well, like a snakes wedding.  Cant seem to find a pin out on the 1uz loom to patch it in to the xtreme loom. Â
Will the ecu pick up all the toyota sensors and injectors or is there more to do. Â

You could just junk the fly by wire and let the throttle cable open and close the throttle.  Its very easy to do.  Just took me a while to work it out  but can be done in 10 mins.
