A G4+ or G4X injector output could control a DI injector through the DI box.
An NO or NC DI pump couldn't be controlled by a G4+ (Other than Force GDI) or G4X as they don't have the software to do a synchronous output which is needed to control those kinds of pumps.
The fuel pressure correction in G4+ and G4X also won't have enough range to deal with the high pressures that DI injectors see.
