  1. I was wondering if you can select multiple load cells on the fuel and timing map like on the g4+ on the g4?

    Only thing I haven't sorted how to do on the older software, can only select columns rather than area's in the map...

    If not could this maybe be a simple upgrade to be release for the g4 tuning software?

  2. I’m having issues with a old v1/2 possumlink to where as the car will only start with a hand controller plugged in, is this normal?

     

    had heaps of cars with possumlinks and never have any of them had a hand controller yet I put this in a car and it won’t start without having a controller plugged in what isn’t ideal since the controller is borrowed.

  3. I’m looking at buying a second hand knock block, trouble is it’s missing the looms.

     

    is it possible to purchase looms or does anyone know what style plugs the unit uses so I can try find them to buy and make a loom for it.

  5. pretty sure most of the Honda's use the 240cc injectors in the vtec range.

     

    everywhere I look has completely different deadtimes for them so its getting rather frustrating.

    might just throw them out and put a set of evo injectors in it

  6. Is the deadtimes that come with plugin base maps suited to the factory injectors? I’m struggling to find reliable deadtimes, it all seems to be conflicting information regarding these injectors and everyone has different deadtimes listed.

    I just finished installing a storm wire in with 850cc injectors on a rb25det neo.

     

    problem is I cant seem to get the master fuel to where its happy, I usually use between 7-9 with 850cc's on the master fuel control.

  8. What map sensor in the Honda range should be selected for B18CR type r Integra 97? it's just got the factory map sensor on it at the moment.

     

    k20 is what the base map has set factory but should it be Honda 92-99?

     

    Cant get it to run decent and hold a idle

  9. Ah so that's the issue then, Will it be a older G4 since its 8 odd years old? its a plugin v1/2 wrx G4, Just a customers car so I'm guessing that's the issue as I've never come across it before.

     

    Will I have any issues having both g4 software installed?

  10. yeah but its abit of a frankenstien, its earlier forger v3/4 setup wit 565cc v7 injectors etc, timing on the base maps seems stupidally harsh too

  11. its version 5.6.5.3338 build date feb 15 2017, unsure of the other laptop i tried its  older verion installd about year and a half ago, this was installed about a month ago, don't have a pcl file as I can't connect to the ecu, It is a older plugin G4 and tuned around 7-8 years ago. Is that the issue?

  12. This laptop has the latest one on it as was installed a week ago and the other one is a year or so old, don't think its a software issue considering the ecu is near 8 years old and every other ecu connects fine

  13. Hi I'm having some issue, haven't come across it before and the only ecu I'm having the issue with can connect to all others

     

    Error Ids not found in database: 1264

     

    Also not a software or laptop issue as I have tried both my laptops that both have different releases of pclink

Does anyone have any 3/4 wrx maps or any ej20 maps I can use to go over and make a base start up map, either using 440cc yellows or with bigger injectors as I'll be using around 800's just more wanting to go over timing etc so its in a safe range as I can keep a eye on air/fuel ratios.

  15. yeah thats what i mean, change the trigger on the actual ecu. can i not set it to multi-tooth and set the tooth count on ecu? or does the motor itself need extra tiggers added?

  16. what would I set the link to for it to just take its trigger from the crank wheel itself and just get it tuned from there? 

     

    Or is there no possible way for the link to be able to trigger from just the one trigger from the crank like you can with the AU ford motor? its only a G4+ Atom and running a basic motor so it shouldn't have any issues with it

     

  17. Sorry got side tracked with another thing, ill find a picture now. its just the same crank wheel as all pre 97 subarus. had the 6 teeth with decent gaps in between them. only thing i can get it to pick up anything on is multi / missing and thats 6 teeth missing 4

    Motor identical to that and crank wheel is one them. same as all pre 97-8 Subaru's

  18. no that I don't unfortionatly. but it is just a normal subaru crank sensor and I'm pretty sure the crank trigger wheel is the same across the ej18's, they just only have the one trigger. no cam trigger

  19. will it start and run from that map? i can trim a little fuel etc out of it, just trying to get it to run safe until it can get in for a proper tune. bein N/A im thinking this should be okay, also will it still use just the v1-6 subaru trigger as it only runs on trigger being the crank and no cam trigger like the ej20

     

  20. Anyone have or able to make / replicate a factory sort of ej18 map for me to load to a g4 atom please? maybe just limiter raised slightly. out of 97 impreza. using a link 2.5 bar map that come with it. anyone able to help me at all please?

    and if it matters, idle valve triggering of AUX 1 and fuel pump triggering off AUX 4 (switched relay)
