DW74
I think I accidentally connected My USB cable to the CanPCB cable. Laptop went black and won't start. Can't test ECU since I don't have a spare laptop. Can (pun not intended) this happen by doing this or did I make some other wiring mistake? evolink g4+ pnp for Evo 4-8. Thanks, David Edited June 8, 2019 by DW74 Spelling
Adamw
CAN 2 port on many of the plug-ins has a 12V output on the CAN port to power a dashboard etc. So if you connected the laptop to CAN2 you could definitely have damaged the laptop. It wouldnt expect it to hurt the ECU though, if the ecu doesnt power up it may have just blown the main fuse.
