Adamw
Is the aux connected to the ground side of the lamp or the 12V side?

Adamw
It should work fine then. What function is the aux set to? Aux 1 is rated at 2.2A continuous and will do usually do quite a bit more than that before it goes in to protection mode. The fact that it switches on and off with a different lamp suggest the hardware is ok.

Adamw
So if you set the aux to "test (on)" does it work?
Poida
yes it does when I have the LED conversion in my dynatek shift light (but I struggle to see it going down the track) ….but no with the bulb
Adamw
Ok, I can only assume you have a wiring problem or the lamp pulls more than 2A in that case. The fact that it works with the LED proves the aux output is working.
