cj
deleted from your laptop or the ECU? If its your laptop, try Recuva - its free and pretty good at getting back recently deleted files. You will need to know where you had the file saved. plip1953
The files in question were thought to have been downloaded from the ecu, (onto a PC) and then deleted from the ecu. Unfortunately access to the PC in question is no longer possible. Rather like the facility to undelete files in Windows, I wondered if the way files are held in the ecu might be in any way similar, and therefore potentially accessible as long as not already overwritten in memory? Adamw
I don’t have an ecu with me to test but from memory when you download the ecu log, it is not deleted unless you choose to. So if you didn’t click the delete option then it is likely still in there and can be downloaded again.
plip1953
I wasn't directly involved with the downloading process, but am advised that the logs were then selected to be deleted from the ecu. The certainly aren't showing as available to download now. Sounds like they're gone forever :-(
