SwissChris
Hi, I need to clarify a detail that was not specified in the manual but is important for my use case. The mentioned maximum input frequency applied to any DI pin is that calculated by the sampling rate or by the Nyquist frequency. I assume it is the latter one, but I just want to make sure. The use-case is the following one. I need to connect a turbo speed sensor to a Link G4 but have to divide the signal with a DFlipFlop array. I just want to make sure, I am choosing the right divisor ;). Thanks Chris
Richard Hill
Digital input frequencies are based on edge triggered events, not analog sampling . The maximum guaranteed input frequency for the fury is 500hz. The actual maximum can be significantly higher if the processor isn't maxed out. Adamw
On top of Richards reply I can say a divide by 8 has worked well for me, with 12 blades @ 190000RPM. See this post for how I have done it:

Sorry, I just noticed that circuit I posted was drawn for divide by 16 (I have used both /8 and /16 with no noticable difference in result). For divide by 8 you would connect pin 9 to the ECU instead of pin 6 as drawn.
Brotang
Hi, Just wondering if this is still the case with the g4x Fury now that the DI have 10khz frequency up from the 500hz frequency on the G4+. I am currently in the planning stages of building my loom Thanks
Adamw
G4X can take it directly.
