Adamw
Attach your tune I will give you a set up you can try. No guarantees it will work for you but this was one I done for a Boss Hoss motorcycle that originally had a marine V8 engine with a MEFI 4B ecu and the dash comms were apparantly based on "J1939 with Nema2000 fast packet utilization". It had some wierd counters that I couldnt reproduce exactly but it was close enough to make the bike dash work. That doesnt mean your device will be happy though. Being a bike it only had a few basics, RPM, water temp, speed, batt volts & oil press

Adamw
Ok, attached your tune with the MEFI 4B CAN setup on CAN port 1. The MEFI uses a bit of an odd PGN (65500) and I dont know what PGN your device supports. If it doesnt work see if you can find any further info on the PGN's your device supports. I dont have a lot of experience with J1939 so may not be much further help but happy to take a look. vq35updatedsoftware.TUNINGATTUNECORP With NMEA2000.pclr
Stephen Hall
Adam, thank you for your info. After doing some work I have the Link talking to the Lowrance on the CAN using NMEA2000 PGN 127488 Can Id 166854656 and PGN 127493 Can Id 166855936. These are Single packet 8 bytes of data and are working ok. I am trying to get PGN 127489 working using Can Id 166854919, it's fast packet with 26 bytes of data. I have tried some different set ups with no joy Are you able to help. I have load the Frame files as I say I'm have trouble with PGN 127489 Fast packet. I have included a shot of the lowrance Data Source screen. 127488 166854656.lcs 127489 166854919 ver 2.lcs 127489 166854919.lcs 127493 166855936.lcs
Adamw
You wont be able to duplicate a 26 byte frame. The G4+ only allows a max of 8byte frames. Stacking multiple smaller frames end on end isnt the same as sending a single long frame. This is because there is a whole lot of extra data being transmitted before and after each frame as part of the arbitration negotiations and things like error checking, checksums etc.
Stephen Hall
Adam, After some research found that Fast Packet Data can be sent in Multi Packet. Have it all working now with real time info on GPS main screen, Tks for help.
