ludichris
I need a base map for an NC (06-13)Miata. It uses a Hall effect for both Crank ref and Cam position. It has VVT on the intake cam only. The crank trigger pattern is 36-2-2-2. (15 of 10degree, 2 of 30, 12 of 10, and 1 of 30). The intake cam trigger pattern is 4+2. (120degrees, 60, 120, 60, 180, 180) The intake cam is used for synchronisation. I see several trigger modes that might work, but I can't find where the trigger patterns are to verify this. I hope that I have supplied enough information to write a mode if one is not already available that can do it. Thanks in advance, Chris
Adamw
These engines will use either the Mazda 3 mode or Suzuki swift V2 mode. Most I have seen use the suzuki swift mode. The difference between these two trigger patterns is just the camshaft signal is inverted. If it runs but gets trigger errors/erratic RPM when the cam is advanced then change to the alternative.
