autolove
Hello, I’m running my evo 9 G4X using the onboard MAP sensor and out of curiosity I’m wondering if the 1 bar OEM MAP sensor is still being used for anything. cheers
Adamw
There is a jumper on the bottom board to switch between the OEM MAP or the Link MAP. Only one will ever be in use.
autolove
@Adamw Nice, thanks. I read about the jumper in the manual and still closed up the case before taking a look at it. I unplugged the stock MAP initially to make sure I wasn’t getting my signal from there. Out of paranoia could you confirm wether or not the jumper is set to the onboard sensor out the box? cheers
Adamw
If the MAP is set to 4 bar in the software and its reading matches the BAP when the engine is off then you are using the onboard one.
