alexharvey72
Hi Guys, I'm looking for some advice on this issue i'm having. I was driving the car when it suddenly switched off. I tried starting it again but it wouldn't go, occasionally it would fire. I noticed I was getting trigger errors and did a trigger scope. It looking like the triggers are slightly off sometimes but I can't think why that would be. I've attached the trigger scope, if anyone has any ideas that would be awesome. Thanks TriggerScopeLog.llgx
Adamw
The triggerscope mostly doesnt look too bad. I see 24 trigger 1 teeth for every trigger 2 tooth. Whats the engine? Can you do a log of it cranking? And attach your map.
alexharvey72
It's a turbo 4AGZE using the factory 24/1 CAS. I've attached the log where the car died, and another log of trying to crank. I will also attach the map. To it seems to have picked up some trigger errors. 4AGZE Turbo COP.pclx Cranking after failure log.llgx Unknown Failure Log.llgx
Adamw
Notice also about a minute before it stopped in the "unknown failure" log the lambda pegged full lean as well? It may indicate a ground has come off or something? Does it have spark when your cranking? Although there is definately something with the trigger it is not fully happy about, I dont think that is all of the problem - maybe more a symptom. From the cranking log it appears to have all it needs for fuel and spark so I would still expect some signs of life.
alexharvey72
Thanks Adam, I should have noted where the Lambda goes 'full peg', that happens often, i think there is some voltage issue on the output of my AFR Gauge. When I have access to the car later today I'll check for spark, I've also thought that an oil leak near the CAS could have seeped into it, could that mess with the signal?
