2020Racing
Hey guys I'm sure this is a really simple topic and has been talked about before but I'm after some information about setting up a switch to ground through the ECU from di9 this will be activating a relay for a transfer fuel pump. I would like to have it activated at 70% TPS or above.
Adamw
DI9 is an input, not an output. To control a relay you will need an output, it can be an aux output or a spare aux ignition or aux fuel. Set up as a GP output like below. 2020Racing
Thanks Adam! Thanks for the quick response. Would I need another expansion loom or are they only for inputs also? As in Ign7 or Ing8?
Adamw
What ecu do you have? Ign 7 or 8 will be fine for driving a relay.
2020Racing
I have a plug in G4+ the only ports I have left on the first expansion are Temp3 and DI7 It is a V5-
Adamw
Yeah, the V5/6 ecu is a bit shy on outputs, you will need another expansion loom to access ign 7 or 8, or if you no longer have AC you may have Aux 3 free?
2020Racing
Yeah AC is deleted. Where would I find that on the loom? Thanks.

2020Racing
Only thing I noticed it won't let me select a driver type?
Adamw
Aux 3 is a low side drive only, that is all you need.
